One to One Art Tuition and Mentoring

Cost £60 for a two hour session with a tutor of your choice.

Gill Walton

Gill Walton, is the founder and main tutor of Allanbank Arts, she has many years of life drawing and teaching experience and has found that though knowledge and experience is important, kindness and humour are equally valuable.

Gill  has won awards from Creative Scotland, Scottish Borders Council and The National Lottery Fund. After graduating with an honours degree in Sculpture from Cheltenham College of Art in 1989 she has never stopped making art and has exhibited widely.

Gill was a part time lecturer at Worcester College of Art, Stroud College of Art and Borders College. She was also an artist in residence for Gloucestershire psychiatric services and delivered art groups to mental health patients for seven years.

Her work is worth a look, it is predominantly contemporary figurative and comprises paintings, drawings and sculptures.

Justine Miller

Justine’s training began at Camberwell College of Art, London, where she studied textiles. She then progressed to Edinburgh College of Art to study Fine Art, specialising in Printmaking.
Justine has much experience of working with and teaching art to children, from nursery age upwards. She is inspired by the enthusiasm and imagination that children have in abundance and finds it immensely rewarding helping them to see the everyday in different ways and to inspire them to capture this in all manner of artistic processes.
Justine lives, works and exhibits here in the Scottish Borders.
